Automotive Collision Repair Specialist

We are seeking an Automotive Collision Repair Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will diagnose and repair automotive systems. If you are team-oriented, focused, and responsible this is the position for you!

Job Requirements 

* Critical Thinking: Auto body techs must be able to look at a damage vehicle and assess for a Reverse Accident Reconstruction.  

* Attention to Detail: Having good eyes for detail is necessary when trying to get a car back to pre-loss condition.  

* Dexterity: Auto body techs need their hands and arms to work with small parts and small spaces. 

* Technical Skills: Auto body techs use a wide range of tools and equipment to assess and repair cars. 

* 5 years or more experience required 

* Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service and quality workmanship  

* Working knowledge of shop equipment 

* Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen 

* Certification (ASE or ICAR) a plus.

Job Requirements

Dispatcher

Stevens' Service Department is Expanding!

Job Summary: The Service Dispatcher oversees the Service Department's work flow for incoming appointments and insures that all customers are receiving professional, timely service with quality repairs at a fair cost.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greets all customers entering the service area and directs them to the appropriate person or location
  • Schedules shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and the technician skill level required
  • Prioritizes and controls all comebacks to ensure proper and prompt attention
  • Ensures proper repair order documentation, i.e., complaint, cause, and correction noted on every repair order with punch time for each operation
  • Reviews job statuses frequently, logging statuses and reporting any changes in time or cost estimates to the appropriate service advisor
  • Reviews hard copies of repair orders turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been performed and the repair order has been completed properly
  • Opens and closes repair orders
  • Prepares a list of needed service department equipment, supplies, and required repairs and reviews with the service manager as needed
  • Assists Service Advisors and Service Manager in tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Must have valid Sate driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with knowledge of automotive servicing or repair highly desired.
  • Ability to multitask in a high volume environment and build relationships with clients to ensure high level of customer service, return business and referrals
  • Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematic skills
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Familiarity with CDK Drive is a plus!

DMV Clerk

Stevens Ford Lincoln is looking for a part-time DMV Clerk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processes title registration paperwork for all new and used vehicle purchases.
  • Prepares tax and title documents accurately for the state the vehicle is to be registered in.
  • Submits all legal paperwork to the DMV in the time frame the state has allowed.
  • Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information in complete.
  • Maintains a professional attitude with co-workers, customers, vendors.
  • Follows federal, state and local law as well as company policy about safeguarding all information.
  • Reports on time to work and follows schedule that is given. Calls supervisor if he/she cannot be at work on time.
  • Keeps current with annual HR training along with any other training that might be required for this position.

Junior Advisor/Porter (Entry-Level)

Position Overview
The Service Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as it relate to the maintenance and service of vehicles.

Who would I interact with?
This position interacts daily with the Service Advisors, Service Managers, Sales Associates, Sales Managers, support staff and customers, just to name a few.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Meet and greet customers
  • Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks
  • Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
  • Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages upon arrival and before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately
  • Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed
  • Perform deliveries as required
  • Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant
  • Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive
  • Maintains building and ground as needed
  • Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed

What are the requirements for this job?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6-12 months of previous work experience (preferred)
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
